Q: Why do you only accept limited students? What if I don't get accepted into the Elite College Coaching program?
A: We have limited spots in our program so that we can ensure that each student receives ample coaching time and individualized feedback. The college admission process is detailed and requires oversight and attention. Because of the limited number of students that we can coach, we look for students that are motivated and that will put in the work needed to achieve their goals!
Q: Can you get me in anywhere?
A: We can provide a strategy and support to get you into any school you want. That being said, you are the one following the plan and achieving the results. And the earlier you start planning for college, the more time we have to work with.
Q: Do you write my admissions essay for me?
A: No. The application essay is one of the most important parts of the admissions process because it gives you a chance to “talk” to the admissions committee and let them hear your true voice and spirit. In order to make sure you clearly communicate your passion through the essay, we brainstorm potential topics with you, and edit and revise the essay as many times as needed.
Q: How often do we meet?
A: That is up to you. In order to formulate the initial plan and strategy, we meet and discuss your goals, dreams and aspirations. Then we meet to go over potential college choices, to outline the roadmap and to discuss. From there, it depends on the package you choose and the individual student.
Q: What if my household is struggling financially so we cannot afford ECC, but I need ECC to help me make the most of my potential?
A: If your family makes less than $60,000 annual household income - and you are highly motivated to attend a Top 100 college - apply for the Dr. Steven Croft Memorial Scholarship.
Q: How successful have you been in the past?
A: We have coached students in various capacities for years. We applied the strategy based model of Elite College Coaching to our own admission processes and, as a result, both attended Harvard. We have experience teaching the SATs though Kaplan and have interviewed students for the Harvard Admissions Committee.
Q: What if I am an international student?
A: Give us a call or an email. We are very familiar with international applicants and the difficulties of applying from outside the country. We offer a phone and email based coaching program that can be formulated to suit your country and the U.S. schools that you are looking to attend.
Q: What if I live out of Florida?
A: We offer a phone and email based coaching program for those students that live outside our footprint. Send us an email and we can send you more information.
